CHILDREN at a Stevenage school showed their generosity on Friday when they collected cash for underprivileged young people.
The coins rained down onto a special heart at Roebuck School being collected for the Kadoma Link appeal.
The joint organisers of the appeal were Hayley Briars, 10, and Luke Goddard, seven, who had the support of all the pupils who brought in their coins in exchange for being allowed to school in casual clothes.
"It was something the children were keen to do and they thoroughly enjoyed it," said school secretary Janet Erne.
