STUDENTS donned their best fancy dress costumes to take part in a school's fun run.
Staff members at Thomas Alleyne School also took part in the run.
Lisa Goodship, head of PE and performance, said: "The students really made an effort. It was the most successful fun run I have done at the school and it was a pleasure to organise.
"The students and staff all pulled together to make it a real fun occasion for the whole school to take part in. The headteacher also ran in a commendable time of 35 minutes.
"It was a real celebration of what a fantastic school we are. The rain poured until 10.30am and it was debatable whether I would have to cancel but I decided to go ahead and the rain held off for the rest of the day.
"We have raised money so that we can refurbish our weights room that is used by the staff and the students.
