Hitchin Labour councillor Judi Billing and town centre manager Keith Hoskins have been busy in New York City lending their support to the Hillary Clinton campaign – with both fervently believing a Trump presidency would be damaging and divisive to the whole world.
Speaking to the Comet from Times Square, Judi said: “We’re cautiously optimistic common sense will prevail and that by Wednesday morning the USA will have its first woman president.
“But no-one watching Trump’s rallies, hysteria and downright lies will rest easy in their beds until this is all over.”
