hoppers heading to Hitchin on two of the busiest trading days of the year don’t have to fret about queuing for a parking place – the team at the Hitchin Tilehouse Rotary Club has it covered.

They’ll be guiding motorists into spaces at Hitchin Priory and neighbouring insurance firm Admin Re this Saturday and on Saturday, December 20, from 9.15am.

The club’s Louise Yexley said: “You can park your car all day for a donation of £3.

“Last year there were cars queuing to park in the St Mary’s car park and we had plenty of space” said Louise.

“Nearly £500 was raised last year and we are hoping to beat that figure this year.”
