A player with experience of the Premier League will be close to his roots when he holds a soccer course for budding stars of the future in Hitchin this week.

Jack Collison, who grew up in Shefford and played for Shefford Saints as a schoolboy, went on to play for West Ham United and the Welsh national team.

He’s already held successful soccer school sessions in his home town and from Thursday he’ll be at the Edge Centre sports complex at North Herts College in Cambridge Road.

The two day course is from 10am to 3pm on Thursday and Friday this week for children aged between six and 13.
