A dad and two sons from Potton were today jailed after they admitted keeping unlicensed shotguns, with one also pleading guilty to possession of hard drugs.
Albert Smith, 60, and his sons Paul Smith, 27, and Frank Smith, 29 – all of Common Road – were all handed 15-month jail terms by Judge Barbara Mensah at Luton Crown Court today.
They had earlier pleaded guilty to two counts each of possessing a shotgun without a certificate, with Albert and Paul also admitting possessing a shotgun while forbidden to do so because of previous jail sentences.
Frank also admitted possession of class A drugs.
The trio were arrested in Luton on January 8.
