Three Potton men have been charged with firearms offences involving a shotgun, with one also accused of possessing class A drugs.
Albert Smith, 60, Paul Smith, 27, and 29-year-old Frank Smith – all of Common Road – were arrested in Luton on Sunday, and have each been charged with two counts of possessing a shotgun without a certificate.
Albert and Paul Smith are also charged with possessing a shotgun while forbidden to do so because of previous jail sentences, and Frank is charged with possession of class A drugs.
The trio were arrested by officers from the Beds police Boson team and have been remanded in custody to appear before Luton magistrates this afternoon.
