Pupils at a Potton school had a close shave this week – literally!
Seven Year 7 students from Burgoyne Middle School not only had their hair cut for Cancer Research UK but – very bravely – had a ‘number one’ head shave all over.
The charity shaves came courtesy of Harpers Barbers staff in the town who kindly gave their time to help them reach their impressive £1,000 target.
Mum Paula Worswick said: “The boys came up with the idea themselves and chose Cancer Research UK as they all know someone who has fought cancer.
“We are all very proud of them.”
