Potton’s Big Weekend will host a project for Sandy’s photograhy club, with the aim of capturing a a snapshot of the many faces of Potton.

The club will welcome individuals and groups to have their pictures taken in its on site studio with backdrop lighting free of charge.

Sandy Photography Club’s founding member Carlos Santino said: “This event will give SPC an opportunity to integrate further with the local community, promote the club, and demonstrate the enjoyment of photography.

“The images taken at the Big Weekend will be used to create an exhibition – 52 Faces of Potton – and will also be published on SPC’s website.

“Photographs taken will be emailed to participants free of charge, and there will be an opportunity to purchase portraits mounted on an A3 size foam board

The Big Weekend takes place from tomorrow until bank holiday Monday at the Henry Smith Playing Fields.
