A POSTMAN charged with common assault has pleaded not guilty in court.
Peter Allam, 62, of Orchard Way, Knebworth, appeared before Stevenage magistrates on Monday following an incident in Stevenage on November 30.
The case was adjourned for trial at Hertford Magistrates’ Court on February 20.
Royal Mail said Allam had been suspended from duties while an investigation is carried out.
