Stevenage FC has teamed up with the Royal British Legion to produce a unique poppy pin to remember the men and women who have lost their lives or have been injured during conflict, and to commemorate the centenary of the end of World War I.

The RBL is the nation’s biggest armed forces charity and provides care and support to all members of the British Armed Forces, past and present, and their families.

Brian Gray, from the charity, said: “The legion is delighted to have teamed up with Stevenage FC to produce these pins.

“We hope fans will wear them, not only to help commemorate those members of the armed forces who have been injured or lost their lives during conflict, but to help raise funds for the charity’s important work.”
