Police are treating the discovery of a body at the Blue Lagoon in Arlesey as suspicious.
Officers were called to the lagoon at about 2pm on Sunday following reports of a body being found.
The Beds and Herts major crime unit has started an investigation as forensics officers examine the area where the body was discovered.
A police spokesman said: "Police have recovered the body from the scene and are treating the death as suspicious.
