Police have released CCTV images of a man and a woman they would like to speak to in connection with an assault, and are re-appealing for information.

The offence occurred on Saturday, February 22, at 7.55pm at a bus station in Danestrete, Stevenage.

The victim, a man in his 30s, was waiting at the bus stop when he became involved in a verbal altercation with the offender, who punched the victim in the stomach.

The victim also sustained scratches to his face by a second offender.

Officers would like to speak to the man and woman pictured. It may be that they witnessed the incident and could help with the investigation.
