POLICE have released a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with a theft at a Hitchin jewellers.
The incident saw a man enter the H Samuel store in the High Street on Sunday, July 31, and ask a sales assistant to remove a ring from the display. He then made off with the ring.
Officers have carried out enquiries and explored all investigative avenues, and would now like to speak to this man in relation to the incident. Anyone who recognises him, or has any information about the incident, can call Herts Constabulary on the non-emergency number 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
