A police officer suffered minor injuries after his patrol car was in an accident on Tuesday afternoon last week.
The vehicle collided with another car near the RSPB site on the outskirts of Sandy.
While officers were dealing with the incident another car was in collision with queuing vehicles causing the road to be blocked for a short while.
The injured officer had been on the way to an incident in Sandy to assist other officers trying to arrest a man wanted for non-payment of court fines.
The man was spotted by a PCSO in the street and knowing he was wanted immediately called officers at Biggleswade who eventually arrested the man outside his home.
