A man has been arrested following a wanted appeal linked to a cashpoint robbery in Letchworth.
The 31-year-old man – of no fixed address – was arrested in Skegness yesterday on suspicion of robbery.
The suspect allegedly stole a railcard from another man at a cashpoint off Leys Avenue, before running towards the station on October 17.
Police – including armed officers, dogs and a helicopter – searched in and around Letchworth railway station for hours afterwards, but didn’t locate the person responsible.
