HERTFORDSHIRE police are investigating an alleged sexual assault in Great Ashby.
The alleged attack occurred on Tuesday evening, off Great Ashby Way, where the area is still cordoned off.
A police spokesman said: “The incident is being fully investigated at this time and the victim is being supported by specialist detectives.
“Understandably people may feel concerned about the incident but people in Stevenage should feel reassured that officers are doing all they can to investigate the exact circumstances of what has happened.”
