Police are hunting for two men after an attempted burglary in Letchworth.
Officers want to question the pair after a home in Grange Road was targeted between 2pm and 2.30pm on Thursday.
They are described as white, aged 25 to 30, and were both wearing a grey T-shirt and dark coloured jogging-bottoms or tracksuit.
The parents of the owner of the house returned and were alerted by a neighbour to damage on the front door that indicated a forced attempt to gain entry to the property.
