Police want to speak to the man in this CCTV image after an assault in which a victim’s jaw was broken after he was punched to the ground and kicked.

Police have released the CCTV image after the assault in Drapers Way, off the High Street, just after 2.30am on Sunday, October 22.

The victim in his 20s, was involved in an altercation with two other men.

They assaulted him by punching him to the face, causing him to fall to the ground, before kicking him.

He suffered a broken jaw as a result and has since undergone an operation to fit a metal plate.

Detective Sergeant Ian Sheridan, from the Stevenage local crime unit, said: “This was a vicious attack and one that left the victim with lasting injuries. He is now recovering at home. We are keen to identify the man pictured as we believe he may have information that could assist us with our enquiries. Do you recognise him?”
