An appeal has been launched to track down a rape suspect who police say could be ‘anywhere in Hertfordshire’.
Officers want to find Erjoel Raga in connection with a rape in Welwyn Garden City on Valentine’s Day (February 14).
The 29-year-old has links to Longlands Road in the town, as well as Baker Street in Enfield.
A statement released by police today said: “Raga is believed to be a violent individual and anyone who sees him should not approach him and dial 999 immediately.
“He could be anywhere in the Hertfordshire area.”
He also goes by the names of Antonis Gizanis, Antonios Lampropoulos, Erjol Myzeqari, Erjol Raga and Georgios Stavridis, and is also wanted for possession with intent to supply class A drugs.
Anyone with information can call police on non-emergency number 101 or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
