POLICE say they are investigating whether a knife was produced during a brawl at a Sandy hotel.
The fight erupted at the bar during a party at the Garden Court Holiday Inn soon after 1am on Saturday.
One man suffered injuries to his hand, which at first were believed to be stab wounds.
It was later discovered the cuts were caused during the fight.
The injured man aged 18 and from Biggleswade, was treated at Bedford Hospital South Wing.
Police say two men involved in the fracas, during which a window was smashed, fled from the hotel and were later arrested at addresses in Sandy.

They were interviewed by officers at Biggleswade police station and later released on bail pending further inquiries.
"There had been a birthday party at the hotel when a fight broke out and a number of people were assaulted," said Insp John Maries of Biggleswade police.
"One man suffered damage to his hand.
"Part of our investigation will revolve around whether a knife was produced during the fight. Some witnesses say they saw one of the men with a knife.
