Police are looking for a driver who failed to stop after ploughing his car into three parked vehicles in Stevenage.

At around 2.20pm on Wednesday, February 14, a white car collided with three stationary vehicles in Haybluff Drive in the Great Ashby area.

The parked cars were damaged in the incident, which was not reported by the driver – with the car later found a short distance away.

PC Boris Kahn from the Beds, Cambs and Herts Road Policing Unit said: “This incident was not reported until sometime afterwards when one of the vehicle owners returned to his car.

“We believe that there were a number of witnesses who left the scene before police arrived. These people may have information that can help our investigation and they may also have pictures and video footage of the collision.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Kahn by emailing boris.kahn@herts.pnn.police.uk, call Hertfordshire Constabulary via the non-emergency number 101, quoting ISR 480 of February 14, or reporting information online at www.herts.police.uk/report.
