A large bronze statue has been stolen from a private garden in Codicote.
The life-size cast of two children playing on a see-saw was taken from the grounds of a house in Hitchin Road sometime between midnight and 9am on April 17.
Investigating officer Pc Keith Harding of the North Herts safer neighbourhood team, said: “This is a very distinctive statue which has sentimental value for the owner. I would urge anyone who may have been in the area and seen anything suspicious or may have any information at all in relation to this incident, to get in touch.”
If you can help call Pc Harding on 101 quoting crime reference number G1/12/897 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
