Police are hoping that distinctive security markings on stolen work tools will help them to be recovered.
The items, including a chop saw, a cordless drill and an electric saw, were stolen during a burglary over the weekend of November 8 and 9 at an address in Vinters Avenue, Stevenage.
Thieves entered the back garden and broke into an area that contained the tools – all of which had the initials RC burnt onto them.
Investigating officer PC Greg Foley said: “We are hoping that someone may have seen these tools or even been offered these items for sale.”
