A police dog helped make two arrests in Hitchin on Tuesday night when he sniffed out suspected class A drugs in a car stopped by officers.
Police dog Berty was on the scene at about 8pm when officers stopped a car in Sunnyside Road.
A 28-year-old man from Hitchin and a 28-year-old woman from Luton were arrested on suspicion of possession of a bladed article and possession of class A and B drugs.
A police spokeswoman said the pair had been released under investigation while enquiries continue.
