A section of Mendip Way in the Great Ashby area of Stevenage was cordoned off this evening after a man was stabbed in the leg.
Multiple police cars and ambulance crews went to an address in the street about 4pm.
A man aged in his 20s was found in an alleyway with an injury to his leg, believed to be a stab wound.
He was taken to hospital for treatment but his injuries are not currently thought to be life-threatening.
Investigations into the incident are continuing and enquiries are being made to trace those involved.
