A 50-year-old man has been charged after a property in Stevenage was smashed up by a man who was armed with a hammer and kitchen knives on Saturday.
Police were called to Shephall Way shortly before 10pm after reports that an armed man was causing extensive damage to a property.
Joseph Isaacs, of no fixed address, has been charged with affray and criminal damage in connection with the offence.
He is due to appear at Cambridge Crown Court on August 1.
