Police were called to a school in Stevenage last night after a gang of young people threatened staff.

A Herts Police spokeswoman told The Comet: “Police were called at 9.07pm to Marriotts and Lonsdale School to reports a group of 15 youths had gained access to the site and had abused members of staff.

“A short while later the group left the area.

“Officers attended and searched the area but there was no trace of the group.

“Officer will be making following up inquiries.”
