TWO men in their 20s have been arrested after a vehicle was stolen from a pub car park and set on fire in a nearby street.
A yellow Nissan was taken from Roebuck Inn in London Road, Stevenage, on Tuesday evening and later found abandoned and alight in Tye End, situated a few roads away.
Two fire engines were called to the scene around 10.10pm to tackle the blaze and had put out the fire by 10.33pm.
*A 21-year-old and a 22-year-old, both from Knebworth, were arrested on suspicion of theft of a vehicle.
The men have both been released on bail to return to Stevenage Police Station on October 19. Police investigations are ongoing.
