POLICE swooped on a pick-up truck in Nightingale Road, Hitchin this afternoon and arrested two men.
The drama started in Blackhorse Road, Letchworth GC at 1.25pm when police were alerted to a break-in at an industrial unit.
As officers dashed to the scene, some men made off in the purple Ford Transit which was followed on CCTV cameras.
Officers caught up with it in Nightingale Road and two men were arrested on suspicion of burglary and possession of an offensive weapon.
They are a 28-year-old and another aged 26, both from London. They are currently in police custody.
