POLICE went to an address in Maple Drive, Shefford, on Tuesday lunchtime following reports that a man was making threats and was possibly in possession of a knife.
Officers arrested a man who was taken to hospital for mental reports.
An eyewitness said the man had threatened a woman and a pensioner and was eventually bundled into a police vehicle after a struggle with officers, one of whom had scratches on his arm.
