Police are appealing for witnesses after two vehicles were set alight in the early hours of this morning in Letchworth.
In the first attack a Ford Transit van was set on fire between midnight and about 12.30am in Shott Lane, causing ‘substantial damage’.
In a second incident a Citroen car was set alight in Rushby Mead at about 12.30am causing similar levels of damage.
Investigating officer detective constable David Lawson is asking for anyone with information to contact the police on non-emergency number 101.
