POLICE are appealing for information and witnesses after a stone was thrown through a bus window in Letchworth GC on Thursday.
The incident happened in Radburn Way at around 5.10pm. It is believed the offender(s) threw a stone at the moving bus which caused the window to shatter.
PCSO Roxy Cramp, who is investigating the incident, said: "It was very fortunate that no one was injured.
"This type of incident in not acceptable and I am very keen to find out who was responsible. We believe the stone was thrown from the direction of the five aside football pitch and I would like to speak to anybody who was in the area that afternoon and believes they may have witnessed the incident."
