POLICE are asking for the public’s help to trace a number of items stolen during a burglary in Letchworth GC.
The incident occurred in a house near Bedford Road between 7pm and 10pm on Saturday, October 9.
The offender(s) forced entry to the front door and, once inside, searched the property and then made off with a number of valuable items.
The items stolen include a men’s gold wrist watch engraved with ‘from Uncle Charlie and Aunty Esme’ on the rear, a silver Victorian fob watch and silver chain and a gold Victorian fob watch.
They also stole a number of electrical items including a television, two mobile phones, a walkabout GPS (Garmin handheld GPS MAP 60CSX) and a Pentax digital camera.
If you believe you have been offered these items for sale or saw any suspicious behaviour around the time of the burglary you are asked to contact Hertfordshire Constabulary via the non-emergency number, 0845 3300 222.
