Police are appealing for information after an altercation between a male driver, schoolgirls and parents in Letchworth.

The incident involved a man – who was in his 30s – driving a black Hyundai Terracan, a small group of schoolgirls and the parents of one of the girls in West View, at the junction for High Avenue, on Tuesday, December 8.

PC Laura Hughes, who is investigating, said: “I am appealing for witnesses to this incident to please contact me with information.

“In particular I am keen to hear from a woman, who is described as being around 50 years old and with blonde hair, who stopped to speak with the driver explaining she had seen the incident.

“If this was you, please do get in touch.”
