A man described as a maverick, musician, songwriter, poet and raconteur is playing a gig at a Hitchin vintage clothing store tomorrow to promote his new album and book.
Walter J Wallis will be playing at Jolly Brown Vintage in Bucklersbury from 3pm on Saturday, to launch his new book Petty Cash, as well as promoting the release of his new album entitled ‘UkedeliA’ which will be available from the beginning of next month.
He said: “UkedeliA comes from the psychedelic ukelele on which half the record is played.
“It’s dirty rockin’ blues served on a platter of carnage with an eclectic soundscape.
“My book is a collection of doodles in the form of poems, lyrics and song.”
Fans will be able to download the album through iTunes.
