Plans to demolish the DuPont site in Stevenage and build up to 200 new homes have been submitted.

Frontier Estates has submitted plans to Stevenage Borough Council to turn the office block in Wedgewood Way into a housing development.

This will also include shops, parking, play areas and open spaces.

Development director at the firm Will Rees said: “Our plans are an excellent opportunity to regenerate a brownfield site and deliver some much needed new homes in Stevenage. The development will give a huge boost to this part of town.”

DuPont has confirmed it will relocate to another building in the town.
