North Herts District Council announced today that it will select plans to turn Hitchin Town Hall into a museum in two weeks time.
Four developers are currently drawing up plans as part of a feasibility study to redevelop the town hall to hold the district's museum collection and must meet a deadline for their proposals by next Monday. The favoured scheme will be selected by July 29.
A working party will then be set up to consult with the public on the plans.
