A public consultation has been launched after a planning application was submitted to replace a demolished bakery with two houses.
Central Bedfordshire Council has opened up a month-long consultation to discuss a planning application to build two homes on the site of a former bakery on The Green in Stotfold.
The site of the family-run WG King Bakers shop was shut down and put up for sale in June last year and has been left vacant since.
The consultation started last week and runs until March 25, with a decision expected to be made at a meeting on April 22.
