Local MP Peter Lilley assisted by two of the youngest children cut the tape for the grand opening at the School last Friday. The event celebrated two notable achievements - a new canopy providing an outdoor learning area for the foundation stage children and a new floor in the school hall. Many parents, friends and guests attended the event which culminated in a most pleasant half hour of children's country dancing, recorder music and singing. All the children received a silver spoon commemorating the event.
