The Wind in the Willows, the famous tale of life on the river bank, adapted by Alan Bennett. First performed at the National Theatre in 1991, this production is full of all the wit and charm that one associates with Bennett's plays but still maintains a great affection for and loyalty to the original Kenneth Grahame Story. The show in the Village Hall takes place during the first week of the Easter holidays and in addition to the usual 2.30pm matinee on Saturday 8th April, the first night's performance on Wednesday, April 5 will start at 6.30pm.Tickets for both these performances will be £5 The evening performances on Thursday 6, Friday 7 and Saturday 8 April starting at 7.45pm, tickets £8.50 are available from the Village Stores.
