Half of the proceeds from a fairy-themed fundraiser near Hitchin will go to support a hospital ward for children.
The Bluebell Ward at Stevenage’s Lister Hospital will benefit from the open-air Faires in the Garden evening put on by music company Felici at Pirton’s Hill Farm.
The action-packed evening on Saturday will include a feast of all things fairy for all ages – fairy songs, music, ballet and drama.
Proceeds from the event will go to the Bluebell Ward’s fundraising for an interactive sensory floor, which staff hope will help reduce anxiety of young patients while they wait for treatment.
The gardens at Hill Farm open at 5.30pm on the night – bring your own picnics – and the music and dramatic entertainment starts at 6.45pm. There is also a bar. Tickets cost £12 each, including train rides and face painting.
