Firefighters rescued a resident from their home after a blaze broke out this afternoon (Sunday).
Crews were called to Corner Close in Letchworth GC at about 1.45pm after reports that a fire had started in the kitchen of a property with someone inside.
A person was led to safety by firefighters before they extinguished the fire, which was declared out by 2.30pm.
