A person was hit by a train at Hitchin railway station yesterday evening.
The incident happened around 9pm, and police and the ambulance service were called to the scene.
Services were disrupted, and railway Great Northern tweeted: “Due to a person being hit by a train between Stevenage and Arlesey, all lines are blocked.”
Around an hour after the tweet, Great Northern added that all lines had reopened.
The Comet is awaiting further details from British Transport Police and the ambulance service.
