A pensioner has died after she was hit by a 4x4 while riding her mobility scooter.
The woman who is in her 80s was rushed to Lister Hospital after she was struck by a white Toyota Hilux on Popple Way, Stevenage just after 1pm on Friday. She sadly later died from her injuries.
Her name has yet to be released by police.
Anyone who witnessed the accident is urged to call Pc Bob Hauxwell from the Herts Constabulary road crash investigation unit on 0845 330 0222.
