Patients who have used Stevenage’s Lister Hospital are being urged to share their experiences at a meeting ahead of an inspection carried out by the Care Quality Commission.

Inspectors for the health watchdog will be visiting The Forum Conference and Banqueting Suite in Stevenage town centre at 6pm on Monday to hear the views of the public, a day before care at hospitals run by the East and North Herts NHS Trust – including Lister – go under the microscope.

A CQC spokesman said: “We look at a lot of information to help us to design our inspections and your experiences of care – and those of your family and friends – help us to decide what we need to look at during the inspection.

“We want to hear what you think.”
