Following the resignation of Councillor Sean Brazier, there are currently two vacancies on the Parish Council. In addition to providing services, such as keeping the village tidy, safe and attractive to visitors, the Parish Council has a powerful representational role to act on behalf of residents. They can question other service providers about how they deliver local services and their plans for improvement. They can also act as a pressure group to influence decisions about local matters taken by other authorities. This is an excellent chance to participate in the running and future plans of your village, and everyone, both young, over 21, and old are encouraged to take forward this opportunity. If you would like any information about Ickleford Parish Council, please contact the clerk Katrina Henshaw on 624885 or by email mail@icklefordpc.com
