A 33-year-old paedophile has pleaded guilty to using a computer to make and share child sex abuse images in Hitchin.
Thomas Finnegan – now of Stanley Street in Southport, Merseyside – admitted creating and distributing indecent photographs of children when he appeared at Cambridge Crown Court yesterday.
In addition to those offences, committed between January and June last year, Finnegan pleaded guilty to possessing an extreme pornographic image depicting a sex act with a dog.
Judge Gareth Hawkesworth bailed Finnegan to be sentenced at the same court during the week beginning June 26.
In the meantime the 33-year-old must do no work bringing him into contact with children under 16, access no online pornography whatsoever, and use no software that can delete or encrypt his internet history.
His bail conditions also forbid him to use the online anonymity network Tor or Internet Relay Chat, or to have any unsupervised contact with children under 16.
