A group of like minded people talked over the idea of forming a Horticultural Association in the town. A meeting was held in December and a committee formed: Chairperson - Mrs Lesley Lewin, Secretary - Mr Bernard Williams and Treasurer and publicity - Mr Peter Drewett. Membership is open to all, it is hoped that once established the association will organise talks, competitions, shows, etc. Lots of ideas will be welcomed, if interested please ring one of the following numbers - 01462 638268, 639347 or 623321.
