Electricity was interrupted to 1,727 customers in parts of south Stevenage at around 7.30am today (Wednesday) following a fault affecting the high voltage underground network.
EDF Energy Networks engineers managed to restore supplies to all customers in stages throughout the early part of the morning, with all supplies restored by 9.14am.
"We do understand how much inconvenience any interruption to power can cause and would like to apologise to all those affected," said an EDF Energy spokesman.
